This is exactly what you'd expect. Though the banner came assembled backward (it's said YPRAH it was easy to restring. One thing to note is that it says HARPY and not HAPPY.

Just what I was looking for

Maybe somewhere in the description says that it comes with party banner but I didn't expect that to be part of it. So that was pleasant surprise.The paper quality is good enough. Not the sturdiest plates, but definitely not the thin ones where you have to use double or triple.Some comments said something about brightness, which I thought was fine. Definitely nothing super vibrant, but not faded either.

Great for the kids

My daughter wanted Monster themed birthday party for her 3rd birthday. I shopped around and I really liked these the best because they had a more simple design. A lot of the others I found had a really busy pattern which I didn't care for. They were definitely a standard paper plate thickness - not too think but not the thick almost cardboard plates. In addition to the adorable design, these were really were a great deal for the money! The only thing I wish was different was that the big plates were a different color. I didn't love the orange personally, but my daughter seemed to love them. :-)
