Invitations
Invite all your feline friends to a party that won’t forget with a super cute invitation or follow our tutorial to create your own! Check out our invitations:
Pop-Up Cat Paw Invitations
Materials
- Scissors
- White Card Stock
- Card Stock (any color for the background)
- Hot Glue Gun
- Brown Marker
- Black Marker
- Ruler
- Cat Paw Template
Directions
- Cut your background card stock so it is 5 in. wide and fold it (hamburger style)
- Print out the cat template onto white card stock
- Cut out all the pieces
- Take the two small rectangle pieces, colored side facing up and fold each end over about 1/4 in.
- Lay the paw down so that white side is facing up and make a fold at the bottom of the paw about 1/2 in.
- Hot glue one flap onto the paw about 1/2 in. down. Do the same thing with the second piece about 3/4 in. from the bottom
- Now that the supporting rectangles are glued onto the paw, glue the two rectangle flaps onto your colored card stock (make sure the bottom of the paw is touching the base of your card
- When your glue is dry, glue the base of the paw to the base of your colored card stock
- Once your paw is set, draw a basic ball of yarn in one of the corners on the bottom card like shown in the video
- Now all you’ve got left to do is write down all your party info!
Decorations

Kitten Balloons
Materials
- Balloons (whatever color you like)
- Tape
- Black Card Stock
- Card Stock the color of your balloon
Directions
- Cut out a small round nose for all your balloons
- Cut think strips for the whiskers
- Based on whatever color your balloon is, cut out triangles for your balloon
- Tape the ears on top of your balloon where the ears would go
- Tape your whiskers down on the front off the balloon making sure that both set of whiskers meet in the middle
- Lastly, tape the nose over the center of where the whiskers meet and you’re done!
Giant Yarn Balls
Materials
- Large Styrofoam Balls
- Super Chunky Yarn
Directions
- This one is pretty simple!
- Take your chunky yarn and wrap it around the Styrofoam ball until none of the ball is showing
- Secure the yarn with pins but leave a piece hanging off so it looks more realistic
Recycled Kitties
Materials
- Paper towel or toilet paper rolls
- Tissue Box
- Craft Paint (Orange, Black, Brown)
- White Paint Marker
Directions
- Draw a very basic cat head and tail on the tissue box for the cats heads and tails
- Cut out the heads and cut whatever size you’d like for the body using the toilet paper or paper towel rolls
- Paint the heads, body and tail whatever color you prefer, they can be all different colors
- Once the base color is dry, paint different colored collars by painting 1/2-1 in. from the top
- Taking your paint marker, draw eyes, nose and whiskers onto the faces
- Once everything is dry, glue the head onto the top of the body and glue the tail onto the back
- Feel free to add anything you’d like to your kitties
Tableware

DIY Cat Shaped Plates
Materials
- Paper Plates
- Tape
- Scissors
- Card Stock
Directions
- Cut out triangles on your card stock for the ears
- Turn the paper plates over and tape the ears onto edge of the plate near the top and make sure they’re secure
- Flip the plate and you’re ready to serve on your homemade cat plates!
Yarn Table Runner
Materials
- Thick Yarn (any color)
- Thick Double Sided Tape
Directions
- Put double sided tape down the middle of the table (as thick as you’d like your width to be)
- Cut several pieces of yarn the length of your party table + whatever you want hanging off the ends of the table
- Lay the pieces of yarn next to each other to match the width of your tape and let the loose pieces hang off the end
Food
All your guests will be purring with happiness after they eat these yummy snacks and treats!
Fish In A Bowl
Materials
- Large Glass Fish Bowl
- Gold Fish Snacks (you can use any flavor)
- Aquarium Fish Net
Directions
- Add your gold fish snacks to the large glass fish bowl
- Place the aquarium fish net in the bowl
- Set these yummy fish out for your guests to catch!
Kitten Yarn Balls
Materials
- Cake Mix (you can use your favorite kind)
- White or vanilla frosting
- Metal Cake Pan
- White Chocolate Melting Chips
- Food Coloring (use your favorite color)
- Plastic bags or frosting bag
Directions
- Cook your cake as directed on the box
- Once your cake is done baking, let it cool completely
- Remove the cake from the pan and break up into a bowl
- Starting with half of the frosting container, add it the bowl with the cake and combine together until you get a uniform consistency
- Take 1 tbsp of cake mixture and roll it into a ball. Do this until you’re out of the cake mixture
- Add your white chocolate melting chips to a microwavable glass bowl and microwave in increments
- Mix the chocolate until melted and smooth
- Now add whatever color food coloring you’d like to the melted chocolate and mix
- Using a spoon, drop the cake balls into the chocolate mixture and coat completely. Set on parchment paper
- Do this to all the cake ball and place on the parchment paper until the chocolate is set
- Place all your cake balls close to each other but not touching
- Put the leftover melted chocolate into a frosting bag or large plastic bag and cut a small hole in one corner
- Drizzle the chocolate over the cake balls in different directions and let the chocolate set
Mice On A Cracker
Materials
- Ritz Crackers
- Fresh Mozzarella (make sure it’s the fresh mozzarella sliced into circles)
- Sliced Almonds
- Dried Cranberries
Directions
- Take the circles of mozzarella and cut triangles out
- Place one piece of cheese on a cracker
- Take two sliced almond and insert them into the cheese as ears
- Chop up the cranberries into small pieces and use them as the eyes and nose

Pin The Tail On The Cat
Materials
- White poster board
- Marker
- Tape
- Paper
- Cat Tail Template
Directions
- On the white poster board draw out a cat (as best as you can) and you can have little ones help you!
- Cut out a cat tail for each participant
- Place a piece of tape on each tail and give one to each person
- Blindfold everyone when they go to put the tail on the cat
- Whichever tail is closest wins a prize!
Stay Away From The Dog
Directions
- You don’t need any materials for this game, just the party guests!
- Pick one person to be the Dog for the game
- The rest of the kids are the cats and their goal is to be the last cat to be tagged
- Once you’re tagged, you’re out
- The last Cat that hasn’t been tagged is the winner and you can reward them with a prize

DIY Cat Party Favor Bags
Materials
- White Party Paper Bags
- Googly Eyes
- White Pipe Cleaners
- Cotton Balls
- Pink Foam Paper
- Glue
Directions
- Cut your pipe cleaners into 2 in. pieces
- Cut out 3 small triangles for the ears and nose.
- Glue the ears on the top and glue the nose pointy side down in the middle of the bag
- Glue the googly eyes above the nose
- Below the nose, add six pipe cleaner pieces as whiskers, three on each side
- Where the pipe cleaners meet in the middle, glue the two cotton balls right next to each other
Kitten Headbands
Materials
- Plastic Headband
- Felt (Brown, Black, Orange)
- Hot Glue
- Scissors
- Cat Ear Template
Directions
- Print out the ear template and cute them out
- Place the templates over the felt and cut out felt shape
- Taking the plastic headband, wrap one ear around it so the triangles match up
- Using the hot glue gun, put glue on the inside of one ear and squeeze together
- You can get as creative as you want with these by adding glitter, gems, etc.
